Captiond provides an AI-powered video captioning service. You may use the service for personal or commercial purposes, provided you comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Use the service to process content you do not have the right to use
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of all videos and content you upload to Captiond. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of generating captions. We do not claim ownership of your content.

3. Accuracy of Captions

While we strive for high accuracy, captions generated by Captiond are produced by AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and editing captions before publishing or distributing your content.

4. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Captiond app, website, branding, and technology are owned by Captiond. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary software.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Captiond shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
